LJ's Book Covers
Here are the covers I have designed for my books.

So what do you think? Are they catchy or... well, downright boring?

Re: LJ's Book Covers
An intrigue or a mystery?
Is that the impression it gives?
Jeez. It's not quite.
It's a collection of stories which are mostly about the pain of letting go of something you love or treasure. I chose the cover because the dull color reflects the greyness that accompanies lost love, ambitions and dreams.

I couldn't see the covers very well (they were small on my laptop screen), but I'm on a different computer with a much larger screen and I can see that the person is an almost reflective or Yoga-type pose. Completely different association now that I can see it better!

I clicked on the pictures and they enlarged, Merri.

Re: LJ's Book Covers
I like them both, but I would like to see the second one brought out a little more. Hard to see.

I saw the young man with tears rolling down his face in the cold February air. He nervously tried to wipe them away, as he was proud and didn't want anyone to see his grief. He stood tall after he'd carried the casket that held his grandfather who died days before of lung cancer. My son knew he could never joke with his papaw ever again.
You can't put a price on a healthy set of lungs. It's just how much you're willin' to pay.
